Hammonds Happenings

We are currently reading The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by CS Lewis. We are listening to it in all classes through a CD reading by Michael York. The students are enjoying it. 

Students should be working on their packets: Answering questions and reviewing vocabulary.

We are also preparing for final exams. Students need to be studying their take home reviews and all notes previously taken throughout the year.

Well, I am now in the sixth grade again! It’s great to see young students come and desire learning each day! My goal is to help each student succeed to the best of their ability, foster learning in an exciting and fun classroom environment, and move each student on in their educaitonal lives so that they will be ready for the 7th grade and beyond.  Also important to me is that each student learn nto be men and women of character, displaying quality attitudeds and actions in their daily lives so that they are productive members of society! I look forward to working with you this year!
